PHILADELPHIA, PA — Joe Hand Promotions (JHP) and Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) have renewed their collaboration to bring two marquee boxing events of the summer to sports bars, restaurants, casinos, and commercial venues across North America. Following the record-setting success of last year’s Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson event, this partnership promises to deliver unforgettable experiences for fight fans.
The first event, set for Saturday, June 28, will air live on DAZN PPV. Jake Paul, the global boxing phenomenon, faces former middleweight world champion Julio César Chávez Jr. in what is sure to be a thrilling generational clash. The co-main event features WBO and WBA unified cruiserweight champion Gilberto Ramirez taking on Cuba’s Yuniel Dorticós, a high-stakes battle likely to captivate fans across borders, especially among Mexican audiences.
Just two weeks later, on Friday, July 11, Madison Square Garden will host a historic all-women’s boxing event, headlined by Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano. This marks the third highly anticipated matchup between the undisputed lightweight champion Taylor and seven-division titleholder Serrano. The groundbreaking fight, broadcast globally on Netflix, will top an all-women’s card, a first for the iconic venue. The co-main event will see Alycia Baumgardner defend her undisputed super featherweight title against undefeated WBA Interim champion Jennifer Miranda.
