HUNTINGDON VALLEY, PA — Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant will reopen its Huntingdon Valley location on June 22, restoring one of the brand’s former suburban restaurants as the company continues a broader effort to revive previously closed locations across Pennsylvania and Delaware.
The Huntingdon Valley restaurant, located at 785 Huntingdon Pike, is the fourth of five planned reopenings led by Iron Hill founder Mark Edelson and a veteran leadership team that has already brought back locations in Center City Philadelphia, Wilmington, and Hershey, according to the company. The reopening expands Iron Hill’s footprint as it seeks to rebuild its regional presence around its craft beer and restaurant operations.
The company said the Huntingdon Valley location will feature on-site brewing operations, a restaurant, and beer garden. To coincide with the reopening, Iron Hill plans to introduce Hop Chase IPA, a new beer brewed specifically for the location.
Iron Hill also plans to host a private fundraising dinner before the restaurant opens, with proceeds benefiting CORA Services, a Northeast Philadelphia nonprofit that provides support programs for children, youth, and families facing academic, emotional, and social challenges.
The reopening is expected to create 85 jobs, according to General Manager Naomi Yared, who will oversee operations at the restaurant.
“I’m thrilled to bring my hospitality experience, from Manhattan to the beaches of the Virgin Islands, home to Huntingdon Valley, along with 85 jobs for the community,” Yared said. “We’re creating a true neighborhood place for the guests we call family, somewhere the community can come together over laughter, great food and award-winning beer.”
The Huntingdon Valley reopening follows the return of Iron Hill’s Center City Philadelphia location in April, Wilmington in May, and Hershey earlier this month. The company said it intends to reopen its Lancaster location before the end of June, completing the current phase of its reopening strategy.
Founded three decades ago, Iron Hill operates as a brewpub chain known for its craft beer production and full-service restaurant model. The company said its latest reopening efforts are focused on reestablishing locations as community gathering places while expanding local hiring and neighborhood partnerships.
