PHILADELPHIA, PA — Philadelphia police are asking for the public’s help identifying two suspects wanted in connection with the shooting of a 38-year-old Uber driver in the city’s Brewerytown section.
According to the Philadelphia Police Department’s Shooting Investigation Group, the shooting occurred June 20 in the 2800 block of Poplar Street.
Police said the victim was sitting inside her vehicle when two males allegedly approached, knocked on her window and shot her. The woman suffered a single gunshot wound to her left shoulder but was able to drive away from the scene, according to investigators.
Authorities reported that the victim was later listed in stable condition.
Police described the first suspect as a male of unknown age and race wearing a hooded jacket with a logo on the left chest and stripes above both elbows.
The second suspect was described as a male of unknown age and race wearing a hooded jacket or sweatshirt, track pants with designs or zippers near the ankles, and a multicolored backpack.
Police warned anyone who sees the suspects not to approach them and to call 911 immediately.

All suspects, arrestees, and defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
