KING OF PRUSSIA, PA — Financial services marketing and growth consulting firm Intention.ly has obtained certification from the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council, a designation that could expand its access to corporate procurement programs and supplier diversity initiatives.
The certification verifies that the company is owned, operated and controlled by women following an independent review process conducted by the nation’s largest certifier of women-owned businesses.
For companies seeking to grow within enterprise procurement channels, WBENC certification can provide access to supplier diversity programs operated by large corporations and government entities that actively seek certified vendors.
Intention.ly said the designation strengthens its position as it continues to expand its presence in the financial services sector, where it provides marketing, branding, communications, artificial intelligence optimization, advisor recruitment and technology consulting services.
The company said it has worked with more than 200 organizations, including financial technology firms, registered investment advisers, broker-dealers, banks, custodians, wealth management firms and asset managers.
Chief Executive Officer and co-founder Kelly Waltrich said the certification formalizes the company’s longstanding leadership structure while potentially creating new business opportunities.
“The WBENC certification is a formal recognition of what we’ve always been: a women-led firm that competes at the highest level in financial services,” Waltrich said.
The certification arrives as corporations across multiple industries continue to expand supplier diversity efforts, creating additional contracting opportunities for certified minority-, veteran- and women-owned businesses.
Intention.ly said the certification adds to a series of recent industry recognitions, including a 2026 Generative AI Platform of the Year award and multiple honors from the Gramercy Institute.
Founded to serve growth-focused financial services companies, the firm operates at the intersection of marketing, technology and business development as competition intensifies across the wealth management and financial technology sectors.
