HHM Hotels Elevates Investment, Operations Chiefs to Managing Partners

HHM Hotels

PHILADELPHIA, PA — HHM Hotels has promoted Chief Investment Officer Shawn Tuli and Chief Operating Officer Dani Elhachem to managing partners, a leadership restructuring that expands their responsibilities over company strategy, operations and growth as the hotel management and investment firm continues to scale its platform.

The appointments formalize a governance structure that places investment and operating leadership alongside President and Chief Executive Officer Naveen Kakarla in guiding the company’s long-term direction, HHM Hotels stated.

Tuli and Elhachem will retain their existing executive roles while assuming broader oversight of corporate strategy, leadership development and owner relations.

The move comes as HHM Hotels seeks to expand capabilities across revenue management, distribution, technology platforms, lifestyle hotel operations and food-and-beverage offerings, areas the company views as key drivers of profitability and growth.

Kakarla described the managing partner designation as a transition from functional leadership to broader accountability for company performance and stakeholder outcomes.

“I have worked alongside Shawn and Dani for decades, and their elevation is both natural and well-deserved,” Kakarla stated. “I have no doubt in their ability and focus on building the specific teams, systems, and capabilities that are required to maintain our growth and outperform on behalf of our owners.”

Tuli has overseen HHM Hotels’ investment strategy for more than a decade, helping build the company’s joint-venture investment platform, asset management operations and relationships with financial partners.

Elhachem has led development of the company’s operating platform and directed the expansion of departments including luxury and lifestyle operations, distribution, commercial strategy and strategic operations.

“As Managing Partners, Tuli and Elhachem will now work alongside me to guide our company’s overall strategy and culture at HHM Hotels,” Kakarla added.

The company said the new structure is intended to strengthen alignment between investment decisions and operational execution as it pursues future growth opportunities.
