Gregory Founder Named EY Entrepreneur Finalist

PHILADELPHIA, PA — Greg Matusky, founder of public relations firm Gregory, has been named a finalist for the 2026 Greater Philadelphia Entrepreneur Of The Year awards presented by EY.

The Entrepreneur Of The Year program, now in its 40th year, recognizes founders and executives for business growth, leadership, and long-term impact.

Greg Matusky founded Gregory 35 years ago as a one-client practice in Philadelphia. The company now operates offices in Philadelphia, New York, Boston, and London.

According to the company, Gregory was named Agency of the Year by PR Daily in 2025 and has received additional recognition for artificial intelligence integration and content marketing services.

The firm said it began developing internal AI tools before the public launch of ChatGPT, including platforms for writing assistance, media monitoring, AI search optimization, and crisis communications.

Joe Anthony, president of Gregory, said the company invested early in AI-focused communications tools and employee training programs.

“He has always run ahead of the industry, and while most agency leaders were still talking about AI, he had our team building tools to advance the level of service we could offer clients,” Anthony said.

Gregory said it provides communications services across financial services, technology, healthcare, logistics, real estate, and nonprofit sectors.

Greg Matusky said the company’s growth has been driven by employee development and evolving communications strategies.

“The best part about building Gregory has been watching people grow into roles I couldn’t have imagined for them when I started,” Matusky said.

Winners of the Greater Philadelphia Entrepreneur Of The Year awards are scheduled to be announced June 11.
