PHILADELPHIA, PA — Gopuff has entered a multiyear equity partnership with comedian and entrepreneur Druski, expanding the Philadelphia-based delivery company’s celebrity strategy into product development and distribution as it seeks to turn entertainment audiences into retail customers.
The agreement gives Druski an equity interest in Gopuff and establishes a commercial relationship involving exclusive merchandise, consumer experiences and products developed around his entertainment ventures.
Gopuff will use its merchandising, retail and delivery infrastructure to distribute products associated with Druski’s creative projects, including his Coulda Been Records and 4Lifers Entertainment properties.
The arrangement extends beyond a conventional celebrity endorsement by linking Druski’s business interests with Gopuff’s commercial operations.
The company did not disclose the size of Druski’s equity stake or other financial terms of the agreement.
Under the partnership, Druski will collaborate with Gopuff on product concepts and consumer initiatives while promoting the business through his entertainment platforms.
Gopuff, which delivers groceries, snacks and household essentials, is positioning its distribution network as a way for entertainers to develop and sell products directly to their audiences.
“We see this as a true creative and commercial partnership,” said Yakir Gola, Gopuff’s co-founder and co-chief executive officer. “By pairing Druski’s creative vision and audience with Gopuff’s infrastructure, merchandising and distribution capabilities, we can turn great entertainment into products and experiences fans can access instantly.”
The agreement follows an earlier advertising collaboration involving Druski and former NFL quarterback Tom Brady.
Both appeared in Gopuff’s “HARD PASS” campaign for the Super Monday Off Coalition, which advocated making the Monday following the Super Bowl a national holiday.
Druski joins a group of celebrity partners that includes Brady, NBA player Giannis Antetokounmpo and soccer player Cole Palmer.
The partnership reflects Gopuff’s effort to expand its role beyond delivery services by using its retail infrastructure to support celebrity-backed consumer products.
Specific product launches and consumer experiences associated with the Druski agreement have not yet been identified.
