RONKS, PA — Lancaster County hospitality operator Thomas E. Strauss Inc. is expanding its holiday retail offerings through nationwide shipping, locally made merchandise and gift-card incentives, extending sales beyond its restaurants and lodging businesses during the 2026 Christmas shopping season.
The family-owned company is marketing products through four retail locations in Ronks and Bird-in-Hand, combining Pennsylvania Dutch specialty foods with handcrafted quilts, jewelry, home goods and merchandise from regional artisans.
A central component of the holiday program is Miller’s Bakery’s nationwide shipping service, which allows customers to purchase shoofly, chocolate pecan, classic pecan and salted caramel pecan pies for delivery outside Lancaster County.
The bakery also offers raisin bread and a three-month Pie-of-the-Month subscription. Sticky buns and whoopie pies are available for nationwide delivery through Goldbelly.
Christmas shipping deadlines are approaching for customers ordering directly from Miller’s Bakery. Pies ship on Tuesdays, with orders due by 2 p.m. Eastern on the preceding Monday.
The final scheduled shipment before Christmas is December 15, making December 14 at 2 p.m. the ordering deadline. The bakery will not ship pies during Christmas week.
Beyond food products, the company’s retail operations include The Quilt Shop at Miller’s, which has specialized in Lancaster County quilts since 1998.
The shop sells hand-stitched quilts produced by Amish, Mennonite and other local artisans, along with wall hangings, table runners, and smaller quilted pieces. Online shopping and virtual appointments are available through quiltshopatmillers.com.
Locally Made Food Shop carries Lancaster County pantry products, including apple butter, jams, jellies, pickled vegetables, sauces and dressings. Customers can also purchase packaged gift assortments or assemble their own selections.
Anna’s Gifts & Sundries offers jewelry, home décor, and locally produced merchandise, including Color Green jewelry featuring wire-wrapped hand-blown glass.
At The Barn & Hearth Shop, merchandise includes Love, Libby Soap, made with goat milk, tallow, and botanical ingredients, and soy-wax candles produced by By Candle Light.
The store also carries products from Logie & Co., a family-owned business whose jewelry and decorative signs incorporate American Sign Language. The company’s designs were inspired by the founders’ son’s experience with hearing loss.
The holiday campaign includes a gift-card promotion intended to encourage purchases and return visits after Christmas.
Customers purchasing $50 in qualifying gift cards receive $10 in Bonus Bucks, while $100 purchases qualify for $25. The promotion runs through December 31, 2026.
Bonus Bucks can be redeemed from January 1 through May 28, 2027, at participating restaurants and retail locations, including Miller’s Smorgasbord, Smokehouse at Plain & Fancy Farm, Locally Made Food Shop, Anna’s Gifts & Sundries, The Quilt Shop at Miller’s and The Barn & Hearth Shop.
The promotion effectively provides an additional $10 or $25 in future spending credit, depending on the qualifying gift-card purchase.
Gift cards can be purchased at participating stores, online at shoppesatmillers.com, or by calling 800-669-3568.
