Flagship Credit Acceptance

CHADDS FORD, PA — Flagship Credit Acceptance LLC has appointed Matthew Long as Chief Risk Officer, adding over 25 years of automotive lending expertise to its executive team. Long, who previously served as Chief Lending Officer and Senior Vice President at DriveTime Automotive, will report directly to CEO Bob Hurzeler.

Long’s extensive experience spans building advanced risk scorecards, advising on risk models for subprime auto finance, and ensuring compliance in lending practices. Before joining DriveTime, Long consulted for consumer finance firms, including subprime auto lenders, offering insights on origination strategies and fair lending analysis. He also played a pivotal role at Capital One, where he led the credit risk management team during its early foray into indirect subprime auto finance.
