BUCKS & MONTGOMERY COUNTIES, PA — Drivers should prepare for daytime and overnight lane closures on several state highways as PennDOT crews continue paving, milling, base repairs and utility adjustments across Bucks and Montgomery counties.

In Lower Makefield Township, lane closures with flagging will affect Oxford Valley Road/Heacock Road between Big Oak Road and Stony Hill Road. Work is scheduled from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning for paving.
In Doylestown Township and Doylestown Borough, State Street will face overnight lane closures with flagging between U.S. 202 (Buckingham Pike) and Ashland Street. Restrictions will also affect State Street between the Route 611 (Doylestown Bypass) overpass and Court Street. Both work zones are scheduled from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM for milling and base repairs.
In Bensalem Township, Route 513 (Hulmeville Road) will be restricted between Route 132 (Street Road) and Galloway Road from Wednesday, August 5, through Friday, August 7. Lane closures with flagging are scheduled from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM for paving and utility adjustments.
In Cheltenham Township, Church Road will be restricted between Township Line Road and Route 73 (Washington Lane). Overnight lane closures with flagging are scheduled from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM for milling, while daytime restrictions will run from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM for utility adjustments.
No detours were announced. Drivers should plan extra time because backups and delays are expected through the work areas. Seek alternate routes when practical and remain alert for flaggers, construction crews and changing traffic patterns.
All scheduled activities are weather dependent and may be postponed if conditions are unfavorable.
The work is part of multiple PennDOT contracts to repair, resurface and improve more than 240 miles of state highways across the five-county Philadelphia region. Crews are milling and repaving roadways with new asphalt designed to seal the pavement and provide a safer, smoother driving surface.
