PHILADELPHIA, PA — Dunkin’ and its Greater Philadelphia franchisees awarded $100,000 in scholarships to 20 regional students for fall 2026, pushing the program’s cumulative support above $1 million as families face the continued cost of higher education.
Each recipient will receive $5,000 toward study at an accredited two- or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school. The awards may support part-time or full-time undergraduate enrollment.
Dunkin’ and Scholarship America selected the recipients from more than 2,400 applicants based on academic achievement, leadership and involvement in their schools and communities.
The Philadelphia Regional Scholarship Program serves students in Southeastern Pennsylvania, Southern New Jersey and Delaware’s Kent and New Castle counties.
Founded by Philadelphia-area franchisees in 2009, the program has now awarded $1 million to 400 students across the region.
“Surpassing $1 million in scholarships awarded is an exciting milestone that reflects our franchisees’ dedication to investing in the next generation of leaders,” Dunkin’ Senior Field Marketing Manager Jamie Struwe stated.
The 2026 recipients will be recognized Aug. 5 at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia.
