PHILADELPHIA, PA — A consortium of creative forces including Allelo Design, In-House Int’l, Left Side Up Films, and Wild Geese Productions is set to launch a new short film series, “ShiftMakers: Climate Impact by Design.” This series aims to pivot away from pessimistic climate change narratives, instead focusing on innovation and action. It celebrates founders who are using design to address significant environmental challenges. The series will debut at New York Climate Week, offering a fresh perspective on tackling climate issues.
Nicole Dery, Principal at Allelo Design, commented, “We created ShiftMakers to amplify the voices of those who are not just talking about change, but actually making it happen.” The films will feature interviews with leaders in climate tech, highlighting their creative approaches to important issues such as renewable energy and sustainable agriculture.
To mark the launch, an exclusive event will take place during New York Climate Week on Tuesday, September 24th, 2024, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Gallery Broadway, 2nd Floor, New York, 10013. The event will include previews of the series and discussions with the featured innovators. Following the premiere, the series will be available online, offering additional content like blog posts and behind-the-scenes footage to further explore how design contributes to climate solutions. The distribution will cover platforms such as the Allelo Design website, LinkedIn, and YouTube, broadening its reach and impact.
