Felony Warrant Issued After Late-Night Chase in Parkesburg

PARKESBURG, PA — A 19-year-old man is being sought after police say he allegedly fled from officers during a late-night vehicle pursuit earlier this month.

According to Parkesburg police, the incident occurred at approximately 11:50 p.m. on April 12 in the 100 block of South Church Street, where officers attempted to initiate a stop. Police reported that the driver allegedly fled, leading to a pursuit.

Investigators said a felony arrest warrant was issued April 21 by District Court 15-3-07 for Joseph Ray Kline, 19, of Parkesburg, charging him with fleeing and eluding and related offenses.

Police described Kline as a white male, approximately 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighing about 150 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.

Authorities are asking anyone with information on Kline’s whereabouts to contact Officer Fonock at jfonock@parkesburgpolice.gov or Detective Sanchez at csanchez@parkesburgpolice.gov.

All suspects, arrestees, and defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
