Main Street Encounter Ends in Escape, Suspect Still Missing

PARKESBURG, PA — Police are searching for a 19-year-old man who is accused of fleeing from officers and has an active warrant tied to a probation violation.

According to Parkesburg police, Anthony A. Myers, 19, is wanted on pending charges of flight to avoid apprehension and related offenses. Authorities said Myers also has an active bench warrant issued April 14 by the Chester County Court of Common Pleas in connection with a probation violation.

Police reported that Myers was observed on April 17 in the 400 block of Main Street, where officers attempted to make contact. Investigators said Myers allegedly fled from police at that time and remains at large.

Authorities described Myers as a Black male, approximately 6 feet 4 inches tall and weighing about 180 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

Police are asking anyone with information regarding Myers’ whereabouts to contact Detective Sanchez at csanchez@parkesburgpolice.gov.

All suspects, arrestees, and defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
