BUCKS COUNTY, PA — Drivers across Bucks County should prepare for daytime and overnight lane closures this week as PennDOT crews mill, pave and make utility adjustments on several heavily traveled roadways. Expect delays and plan extra travel time through active work zones.

PennDOT has announced the following traffic restrictions:
- Oxford Valley Road/Heacock Road: Monday, July 27, through Friday, July 31, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM, lane closures with flagging will be in place between Big Oak Road and Stony Hill Road in Lower Makefield Township for milling, paving and utility adjustments.
- Route 513 (Hulmeville Road): Monday, July 27, through Friday, July 31, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM, lane closures with flagging will be in place between Route 132 (Street Road) and Galloway Road in Bensalem Township for milling, paving and utility adjustments.
- State Street: Tuesday, July 28, through Friday, July 31, from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM, lane closures with flagging will affect State Street between U.S. 202 (Buckingham Pike) and Ashland Street, as well as between the Route 611 (Doylestown Bypass) overpass and Court Street in Doylestown Township and Doylestown Borough for milling operations.
No detours were announced. Motorists should expect delays, use caution when traveling through work zones and seek alternate routes when practical. All scheduled activities are weather dependent and may be postponed if conditions are unfavorable.
The work is part of PennDOT’s ongoing resurfacing and roadway improvement program, which includes repairing, milling and repaving highways with new asphalt pavement to provide a safer and smoother ride for motorists.
