Arcadia University Tops State Rankings for Study Abroad Programs

GLENSIDE, PA — Arcadia University has once again been recognized as the leading institution in Pennsylvania for study abroad programs, according to the U.S. News & World Report 2025 Best Colleges rankings. This marks the sixth consecutive year Arcadia has held this distinction. Nationally, Arcadia is ranked 16th in the study abroad category, showcasing its continued commitment to providing global learning opportunities.

In addition to its study abroad success, Arcadia has been named a Top Performer on Social Mobility for the sixth year running. This accolade highlights the university’s efforts in graduating students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, with a focus on those receiving Pell Grants.

Arcadia’s graduate programs also earned high marks in the latest U.S. News & World Report Best Graduate Schools rankings. The university’s Physical Therapy program is ranked first in the Philadelphia region and second in Pennsylvania. Additionally, its Physician Assistant program is third in the region, while Public Health and Education programs are tenth and ninth in Pennsylvania, respectively.

The Institute of International Education ranks Arcadia third in the nation for study abroad, surpassing prestigious institutions such as Harvard and Yale.
