PHILADELPHIA, PA — Aramark (NYSE: ARMK) is expanding premium hospitality services and local restaurant partnerships across seven NBA and NHL arenas for the 2026-27 season, increasing its emphasis on high-end dining, exclusive seating experiences and market-specific concessions.
The Philadelphia-based company’s Sports + Entertainment division is introducing new hospitality concepts, renovating existing spaces and expanding food and beverage offerings at venues in Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Washington, Cleveland, San Antonio, San Jose and Ottawa.
The changes span premium clubs and suites, concessions and specialty retail, with several arenas adding private dining services and partnerships with regional restaurants.
At Washington’s Capital One Arena, Aramark is introducing The Collective as part of a broader renovation of premium hospitality areas, including Founders, Signature, Executive and Innovative Suites.
The venue’s Vault Suites will also introduce a rotating chef residency program featuring Washington-area restaurants and culinary professionals. New concession partners include Joia Burger and Balos.
San Antonio’s Frost Bank Center is expanding its Ledger Courtside Club, adding capacity for as many as 100 additional guests.
The premium offering combines courtside seating with access to a private event-level club, three-course dining, in-seat beverage service, reserved parking and access to the arena’s glass player tunnel.
The arena will also bring back its Spurs Culinary Residency Program, which provides rotating concession opportunities for local and minority-owned restaurants.
A separate concept, Local Co., will feature house-made menu items alongside products supplied by San Antonio-area vendors.
In Cleveland, Rocket Arena is adding Delia’s, a restaurant concept inspired by local restaurant Cordelia and James Beard Award finalist chef Vinnie Cimino.
The arena is also continuing its HIPP Club premium hospitality program, which offers private access, chef-curated dining, specialty beverages and admission to other premium club spaces.
The HIPP Club recently received the NBA’s Premium Experience of the Year award.
Additional changes include a renovated Swenson’s concession location, a Tenders Love & Chicken outlet and a new CLE Cocktail Co. bar.
At Ottawa’s Canadian Tire Centre, Aramark is renovating the ice-level restaurant and upgrading the Brookstreet Lounge, Club Bell and Player’s Lounge.
The redesigned spaces will include live cooking stations, rotating menus and expanded private-event capabilities.
New food offerings will emphasize Canadian ingredients and regional dishes, including bison, poutine, smoked meat, peameal bacon and maple mustard.
The arena is also introducing Ottawa Cocktail Co. and house-baked bread inspired by Indigenous Bannock traditions.
At SAP Center in San Jose, Aramark is introducing Tidal Grit, a bourbon developed specifically for the arena in partnership with a Kentucky distillery.
Additional offerings include the Big Beautiful Bar, a Tenders Love and Chicken grab-and-go location and specialty merchandise and concessions tied to the San Jose Sharks.
In Pittsburgh, PPG Paints Arena is adding Insta-Grill, a rotating concession concept featuring menus based on changing culinary trends.
The venue will also introduce exclusive merchandise commemorating the Pittsburgh Penguins’ 60th anniversary, the 10th anniversary of the franchise’s 2017 Stanley Cup championship and the 2026 Penguins Hall of Fame class.
At Philadelphia’s Xfinity Mobile Arena, Aramark is updating restaurant concepts associated with chefs Marc Vetri and Jose Garces.
The arena is also revising menus across general concessions, premium clubs and suites, incorporating a broader selection of cuisines associated with Philadelphia’s restaurant market.
Alison Birdwell, chief executive officer of Aramark Sports + Entertainment, said the company is combining its national hospitality operations with restaurant partnerships and offerings tailored to individual markets.
“Our approach is to combine the scale and expertise of Aramark’s hospitality platform with experiences that reflect the culture, energy, and identity of each market,” Birdwell said.
The changes reflect Aramark’s strategy of differentiating its arena hospitality operations through premium services and local food partnerships as its venue partners prepare for the upcoming professional basketball and hockey seasons.
