Get Free Health Screenings and Affordable Immunizations this Saturday at Walmart

Prior to embarking on your summer travels, Walmart would like to bring to your attention the upcoming Wellness Day on Saturday, May 6th from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Customers can benefit from free health screenings for crucial parameters, such as glucose, cholesterol, BMI, and blood pressure. Additionally, pharmacies across the nation offer affordable immunizations, such as flu, COVID-19, shingles, tetanus, measles, and more. Customers can also browse through an array of reliable product offerings ranging from allergy relief options to vitamins and supplements, and more.

Walmart Wellness Day inspires families to prioritize their health using powerful tools and resources, resulting in the formation and continued practice of healthy lifestyle habits. Looking after your health stats is just the beginning; additional information empowers people to make informed decisions and track progress.

Over 4,600 Walmart pharmacies throughout the nation will be hosting Walmart Wellness Day events on Saturday May 6th, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. local time. A few select stores will also give customers access to specialized services and demos of wellness products, along with vision screenings and in-store giveaways. At certain locations, Health & Wellness sampling is also available, with options like digestive supplements, vitamins and nutrition items to choose from.

Walmart Wellness Day events feature the following health resources, administered by qualified pharmacy and Vision Center teams:

  • Free health screenings, including glucose, cholesterol, blood pressure, body mass index and vision screenings (select locations)
  • Affordable immunizations, including flu, measles, mumps, pneumonia, tetanus, HPV, rubella (MMR), varicella (chickenpox/shingles), whooping cough (TDAP), Hepatitis A & B and more
  • No cost to patient COVID-19 vaccines
  • Wellness resources and the opportunity to talk with pharmacists
