WEST CHESTER, PA — A day focused on health, wellness, and community connection is coming to West Chester as Penn Medicine Chester County Hospital partners with Saint Agnes Parish to host a free community health fair for residents of all ages.
Taking place on Saturday, May 9, the event is designed to make preventive care more accessible while creating a welcoming, family-friendly environment where attendees can learn, connect, and take proactive steps toward better health.
Held inside the Thomas Patrick Hall Gym at Saint Agnes Parish, the fair will feature a range of on-site services and resources, including the Penn Medicine Mobile Mammogram and the YMCA FIT Truck—bringing convenient, hands-on health opportunities directly into the community.
Throughout the event, Chester County Hospital nurses and specialists will provide screenings and education on a variety of important topics, including blood pressure and stroke risk, wound care, lactation support, and safe sleep practices. Additional support will be available from the hospital’s diabetes and nutrition team as well as physical therapy professionals.
Beyond screenings, the health fair is designed with families in mind. Children can enjoy activities while adults explore community-based wellness resources, enter raffles, and take advantage of free snacks and giveaways.
Organizers say the goal is simple: bring vital health resources into a comfortable, community-centered setting where people can ask questions, access care, and leave feeling empowered.
