BERWYN, PA — iCapital and Envestnet said they expanded their strategic partnership to integrate iCapital’s alternative investment capabilities into Envestnet’s Unified Managed Account platform.
The companies said the integration allows financial advisors to access iCapital’s platform through Envestnet and include alternative and structured investments alongside traditional assets within a single account structure.
The expanded capability enables advisors to manage portfolio construction, implementation, and oversight through connected workflows within Envestnet’s system, the companies said.
“As alternatives increasingly become a core component of portfolios, advisors need a practical way to implement them alongside traditional assets,” iCapital President Gary Gallagher said.
The companies said the platform includes single sign-on functionality and tools to support portfolio management and reporting across asset classes.
“We’re focused on giving advisors the ability to bring the full spectrum of investment opportunities into a unified portfolio experience,” Dana D’Auria, co-chief investment officer and group president at Envestnet Solutions, said.
The expansion builds on an existing partnership between the companies and includes the addition of products such as a private credit fund and a structured investments strategy available within Envestnet portfolios.
iCapital said its platform services more than $1.14 trillion in assets globally and supports more than 3,300 wealth management firms and 123,000 financial professionals.
Envestnet said its platform supports approximately $7.0 trillion in assets and is used by financial advisors across banks, brokerages, and registered investment advisory firms.
