Schiffer Publishing Expands into Crafting with New Kits

Schiffer Publishing, Schiffer Craft, and Better Day Books

ATGLEN, PA — Schiffer Publishing is making waves in the crafting world with the launch of an innovative lineup of craft kits under its Better Day Books and Schiffer Craft imprints. Set to release in June and October 2025, the kits cater to a wide range of creative interests, from watercolor painting and crocheting to finger knitting and mixed-media projects.

Better Day Books will introduce beginner-friendly options, including watercolor-painting kits, playful finger knitting sets, and Crochet Café Amigurumi Kits featuring adorable designs like donuts, cupcakes, and hot cocoa. “We saw an opportunity to create craft kits that truly support success from the start,” said Peg Couch, founder of Better Day Books. “These kits feel special from the moment you open them. They’re a joy to create with and beautiful enough to give as a gift!”

Schiffer Craft, aimed at advanced makers, will unveil its own projects in October, such as Mixed-Media Print Adventure kits and Crochet Your Veggies Amigurumi Kits offering whimsical designs like carrots and avocados. “These kits are cute, calming, and easy to pack in a purse or tote bag,” said Kaylee Schofield, imprint director for Schiffer Craft. “I’m crocheting the peapod as we speak, and can confirm that it’s a joy to make.”

Each kit includes premium materials, clear instructions, and engaging activities designed to inspire creativity. The kits will be available for purchase at retailers starting in late June and are currently available for preorder, offering something for crafters of all skill levels.
