SOCRadar Launches Assessment Tool Targeting MSSP Lead Generation

SOCRadar

NEWARK, DE — Cybersecurity firm SOCRadar has launched a new assessment platform aimed at helping managed security service providers and managed service providers identify potential customer vulnerabilities and accelerate sales efforts through automated threat intelligence analysis.

The company said its new Hacker Score tool provides organizations with an assessment of their external cyber exposure by analyzing internet-facing assets, compromised credentials, vulnerabilities, and dark web activity. The service is being offered free for a limited time.

The launch targets a competitive market where MSSPs and MSPs increasingly use security assessments to demonstrate risk exposure and generate new business opportunities.

According to SOCRadar, the platform continuously evaluates more than 150 indicators and attack vectors commonly used by threat actors when assessing potential targets.

“Hacker Score removes the barriers for MSSPs and MSPs to deliver high-tier threat intelligence,” SOCRadar CEO and Co-Founder Huzeyfe Onal said. “This tool isn’t just about finding vulnerabilities; it’s about giving our partners the data they need to build trust with their clients from day one.”

The company said Hacker Score combines attack surface monitoring with data gathered from deep and dark web sources, including compromised credentials, stealer logs, ransomware intelligence, and phishing infrastructure.

SOCRadar said the platform is designed to provide a view of an organization’s exposure from an attacker’s perspective, helping service providers identify potential security weaknesses before they are exploited.

Key capabilities include external attack surface mapping, credential leak detection, vulnerability identification, and supply chain risk analysis, according to the company.

The launch expands SOCRadar’s portfolio of threat intelligence and external risk management products as cybersecurity providers seek new ways to automate security assessments and differentiate services in a crowded managed security market.
