EXTON, PAEnergage has teamed up with Nurse.com to introduce the Top Workplaces for Nursing award, a new initiative aimed at recognizing healthcare organizations that foster supportive environments for nurses. This collaboration seeks to highlight organizations prioritizing people-first workplace cultures, which are essential for nurses to provide exceptional patient care.

The award’s criteria are based on feedback from the confidential Energage Workplace Survey, which utilizes extensive benchmarks derived from over 18 years of culture research. To qualify, organizations must employ at least 50 nurses or have a workforce comprising 35% nurses. The nomination period is currently open, ending in mid-January 2025, with winners announced in May 2025. Participation in the program is free, including the nomination and employee survey processes.

Cara Lunsford, RN, Vice President of Community at Nurse.com, emphasized the award’s significance: “At Nurse.com, we’ve built a community where nurses can connect, grow, and feel supported at every stage of their journey. By partnering with Energage to create the Top Workplaces for Nursing award, we’re honoring organizations that see the person behind the profession and foster environments where nurses can grow personally and professionally.”

Eric Rubino, CEO of Energage, added, “At Energage, we believe that great workplace culture is the foundation for exceptional performance, and this partnership allows us to spotlight organizations that not only support their nursing teams but also nurture environments where they can thrive.”

As the role of nurses becomes increasingly critical in healthcare, this award aims to inspire more organizations to create sustainable and nurturing workplace environments.
