Business News

PHILADELPHIA, PA — Philadelphia-based software company Piano was named a leader in Snowflake’s 2026 Modern Marketing Data Stack report, marking the fifth consecutive year the customer analytics and data platform provider has been recognized by the cloud data company as businesses increasingly shift toward artificial intelligence-driven marketing systems.

Piano was identified as a leader in the report’s Data Capture and Customer Analytics category for its ability to combine customer data and behavioral analytics on Snowflake’s platform to support real-time audience segmentation, AI-generated insights, and personalized customer experiences.

The annual report, now in its fifth edition, examines how organizations are moving away from fragmented marketing technologies toward AI-enabled systems built on centralized and governed data. Snowflake said the report draws on insights from more than 11,500 customers and ecosystem partners across 13 categories.

The recognition underscores growing demand for technologies that help companies consolidate customer information and deploy AI tools while addressing data privacy and governance concerns.

“We are delighted to be named a Leader in Snowflake’s Modern Marketing Data Stack report, which reveals which technologies use AI to help businesses extract maximum value from their data,” Piano Chief Executive Officer Nick Worth said. “Together our tools deliver better insights that grow revenue.”

Piano’s software is designed to help businesses unify customer data and performance metrics in real time, allowing organizations to analyze customer behavior and make marketing decisions using a single data foundation.

Denise Persson, Snowflake’s chief marketing officer, said Piano’s ability to operate directly from the data layer and share information in real time while emphasizing privacy and data quality distinguished the company.

“This is the fifth year in a row that Piano has earned a spot as a Leader in our report,” Persson said.

The recognition comes as technology companies race to position themselves in the rapidly expanding market for AI-powered marketing and customer analytics tools, where businesses are increasingly seeking platforms capable of integrating large volumes of customer data and automating decision-making processes.
