EXTON, PA — Dance Society, a new adult dance and fitness studio in Exton, will celebrate its official Grand Opening on Saturday, October 3, from 9:00 to 11:30 a.m., with a morning of complimentary class samples, local vendors, and community activities, with 100% of event proceeds benefiting Unite for HER.
The partnership is especially meaningful to the Dance Society community. At least three Dance Society members have personally received support from Unite for HER during their experiences with breast cancer, making the organization a natural choice when owner Jen Crowley began planning the studio’s Grand Opening.
“When I started thinking about how we wanted to celebrate our Grand Opening, I knew I wanted the day to be about more than just us,” said Crowley. “Unite for HER has personally supported at least three women in our Dance Society community, so this just felt like the right way to celebrate — bringing people together while supporting an organization that has made a real difference for people we care about.”
Unite for HER provides integrative therapies, services, education, and support for people affected by breast and ovarian cancers.
Throughout the morning, guests will have the opportunity to experience short samples of many of Dance Society’s classes, including dance fitness, strength, and accessible fitness offerings. Local businesses and community partners will also be participating in the event.
Dance Society opened in Exton on July 1 with a mission centered around Dance. Strength. Community. The studio offers a variety of adult dance and fitness classes for different interests, ages, and fitness levels, with an emphasis on creating a welcoming space where people can move, get stronger, and connect with others.
The Grand Opening is free to attend, with a suggested $25 donation to Unite for HER.
