WEST GOSHEN TWP, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced that nighttime milling and paving will take place on Route 3 (West Chester Pike) as part of a corridor improvement project in West Goshen Township, Chester County.
The work is scheduled to occur from Tuesday, May 13, through Thursday, May 22, between 7:00 PM and 5:00 AM the following morning. During this period, there will be lane closures with flagging in both directions of Route 3. The closures will extend between Paoli Pike and Strasburg Road.
Motorists traveling through the area should anticipate delays and are advised to allow extra time for their commutes. All work is contingent upon favorable weather conditions.
The project, aimed at enhancing travel and safety along the Route 3/Market Street corridor, is financed entirely through federal funds, with Highway Materials, Inc., of Flourtown, Pennsylvania, serving as the general contractor.
PennDOT encourages drivers to remain cautious, obey traffic controls, and plan their routes accordingly to avoid congestion during the scheduled activities.
