PHILADELPHIA, PA — Drivers across Bucks, Chester, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties should prepare for 10 construction zones beginning Monday, September 14, as PennDOT schedules daytime and overnight lane restrictions for paving, milling, pothole repairs, utility work, and line striping.

Bucks County
Woodbourne Road will have overnight lane closures with flagging between Cobalt Ridge Drive and Big Oak Road in Middletown Township. Restrictions are scheduled from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM, Monday through Friday nights, for milling.
On Tuesday night, a lane will close on eastbound I-295 over U.S. 1 in Middletown Township for pothole repairs. The restriction will run from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM Wednesday.
Chester County
Chestnut Tree Road will have daytime lane closures with flagging between U.S. 322 (Horseshoe Pike) and Route 82 (Manor Road) in Honey Brook and West Nantmeal townships.
Restrictions are scheduled from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Wednesday through Friday, for milling, paving, and utility adjustments.
Montgomery County
Valley Road will have lane closures with flagging between Frederick Road and Route 63 (Welsh Road) in Lower Moreland Township. Work is scheduled from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
Ashbourne Road/Montgomery Avenue/Central Avenue will have overnight lane closures with flagging between Washington Lane and Route 73 (Cottman Avenue) in Cheltenham Township. Paving is scheduled from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM, Monday through Friday nights.
Route 663 (King Street/Charlotte Street) will have lane closures with flagging between Route 100 (Pottstown Boyertown Bypass) and Route 73 (Big Road) from Wednesday through Friday. The corridor passes through Pottstown Borough and Lower Pottsgrove and New Hanover townships.
Route 663 restrictions are scheduled from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM and again from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM for milling, paving, and utility work.
Philadelphia County
Girard Avenue will have daytime lane closures between Lancaster Avenue and Lansdowne Drive from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday, for line striping.
Berkley Street/Roberts Avenue will have lane closures between Germantown Avenue and Henry Avenue during the same days and hours for line striping.
Ridge Avenue will have daytime lane closures between Domino Lane and Spring Garden Street from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM for preparation work. Overnight closures for milling are scheduled from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
PennDOT advises motorists to plan extra time because backups and delays are expected in all work zones. All scheduled activities depend on weather conditions.
The restrictions are part of multiple contracts to repair, resurface, and improve more than 240 miles of state highways across the five-county Philadelphia region.
