MANHEIM TWP, PA — Drivers should prepare for daytime delays on Route 222 Monday, September 14, and Tuesday, September 15, as PennDOT inspects the Hunsicker Road bridges in Manheim Township.

On Monday, the right lane of southbound Route 222 will close between mile markers 32.7 and 32.4 from 9:00 AM until noon. Crews will then close the southbound left lane from noon until 3:00 PM.
On Tuesday, the right lane of northbound Route 222 will close between mile markers 32.4 and 32.7 from 9:00 AM until noon. The restriction will shift to the northbound left lane from noon until 3:00 PM.
No detour is planned, but motorists should expect delays as traffic moves through the reduced-lane work zone. Plan extra time, obey posted signs, and use caution near inspection crews.
