PHOENIXVILLE, PA — A powerful show of support for survivors and safer communities will take place this spring as residents gather in Phoenixville for the annual Walk a Mile in Her Shoes® event.

Organized by Phoenixville High School’s Walk a Mile in Her Shoes® chapter, the community walk invites participants to come together, spark meaningful conversations about domestic violence, and demonstrate solidarity with survivors throughout Chester County.

The event encourages participants to quite literally “step into her shoes,” a symbolic gesture meant to raise awareness and inspire dialogue about the impact of domestic violence while supporting prevention efforts in the region.

Proceeds from donations and sponsorships connected to the walk will benefit the Domestic Violence Center of Chester County, helping fund programs that support survivors and promote safer communities.

The walk is designed as a welcoming, family-friendly gathering where individuals, students, organizations, and local residents can stand together in support of an important cause.
