KENNETT SQUARE, PA — Authorities are searching for a Kennett Square man who is accused of multiple violent offenses stemming from an alleged domestic dispute earlier this week. An arrest warrant has been issued for 40-year-old Virgilio Ramos-Lopez in connection with an incident that reportedly led to injuries involving two juveniles and an adult woman.
According to the Kennett Square Police Department, officers responded to a report of a physical domestic incident at approximately 10:47 p.m. on Monday, April 14, 2025, at a residence in the 500 block of Center Street. Upon arriving at the scene, law enforcement encountered Ramos-Lopez, who reportedly displayed visible blood on his face and chest.
The investigation revealed that Ramos-Lopez allegedly initiated a verbal argument that escalated into a physical assault. Police allege that he strangled a woman during the altercation and struck a male juvenile in the face multiple times, both with his fists and a metal broom handle. Ramos-Lopez is also accused of throwing a knife at the male juvenile during the confrontation. Officers noted that the broom handle was heavily bent, reportedly as a result of the attack.
Additionally, an investigation uncovered that a female juvenile was struck in the head by Ramos-Lopez’s elbow during the incident. Both the male juvenile and Ramos-Lopez were transported to separate hospitals to receive medical care.
On Tuesday, April 15, an arrest warrant was issued for Ramos-Lopez. He is facing several charges, including aggravated assault, strangulation, simple assault, terroristic threats, endangering the welfare of children, recklessly endangering another person, possessing instruments of crime, and harassment. Authorities noted that additional related charges may also apply.
Ramos-Lopez is described as being 5 feet 3 inches tall, weighing approximately 110 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He is identified as Hispanic and is 40 years old.
