BIRDSBORO, PA — Police are warning residents about suspicious activity involving individuals allegedly targeting homeowners with unsolicited driveway repair offers in the Geigertown area.

According to Robeson Township police, the activity was reported on April 27 and involves individuals who allegedly approach residents offering driveway sealing or asphalt work that was not requested.

Police said the individuals are believed to be operating from plain pickup trucks with out-of-state registrations and no visible business markings.

According to investigators, the suspects may attempt to distract homeowners with sales pitches while others could allegedly enter homes to steal valuables or solicit payment for work that is never completed.

Authorities reported that the incidents are being investigated as part of a broader scam pattern involving transient crews.
