EMBREEVILLE, PA — Pennsylvania State Police reported multiple crashes across Chester County in recent months, including incidents involving injuries, alleged violations, and a minor driver, according to records reviewed from the Embreeville barracks.
Police reported that on February 4 at approximately 2:05 p.m., a three-vehicle crash occurred on Compass Road just north of Cambridge Road in Honey Brook Township. According to investigators, a westbound vehicle allegedly entered the intersection without ensuring it was clear and struck another vehicle, which then hit a third. A 51-year-old passenger was transported to a hospital with suspected minor injuries. Police stated the driver of the first vehicle was issued a citation related to stop sign violations.
In a separate incident on February 10 at approximately 6:23 a.m., police reported a two-vehicle crash on the 4400 block of Horseshoe Pike in Honey Brook Borough. According to investigators, one driver allegedly struck a parked vehicle. Police stated both vehicles sustained disabling damage, but no injuries were reported. The driver was cited for a traffic violation related to roadway use.
On March 7 at approximately 9:47 a.m., troopers responded to a crash on Romansville Road in West Bradford Township. According to police, a 16-year-old driver from Downingtown allegedly became distracted and veered off the roadway, striking a large piece of wood. No injuries were reported, and authorities said a citation was issued related to prohibited text-based communication while driving.
Police also reported a two-vehicle crash on March 21 at approximately 2:17 p.m. on West Lincoln Highway in Sadsbury Township. According to investigators, one driver allegedly followed too closely and struck another vehicle. A 68-year-old driver was transported to a hospital with suspected minor injuries, while the second driver declined medical transport. Authorities said a citation was issued for following too closely.
In East Whiteland Township, police reported a single-vehicle crash on March 22 at approximately 5:44 a.m. along U.S. Route 202 near Route 401. According to investigators, the vehicle allegedly veered off the roadway and struck a concrete barrier and guide rail. No injuries were reported, police said.
On April 8 at approximately 2:25 p.m., troopers responded to a crash on the U.S. Route 30 Bypass westbound in Caln Township. Police reported the vehicle allegedly left the roadway and struck a guiderail. No injuries were reported, though the vehicle sustained disabling damage.
In another crash on April 12 at approximately 12:59 p.m., police reported a single-vehicle incident on the U.S. Route 30 Bypass in Valley Township. According to investigators, the driver allegedly experienced a medical issue and lost consciousness, causing the vehicle to strike a concrete barrier before coming to rest against a guiderail. No injuries were reported.
All incidents remain subject to review as part of standard investigative procedures, police said.
All suspects, arrestees, and defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
