COATESVILLE, PA — The Courtyard by Marriott Philadelphia Coatesville/Exton has completed a renovation reported to exceed $2.5 million, reinvesting in Coatesville’s only hotel as the property targets business, event, and leisure demand along the Route 30 corridor.
The 125-room hotel at 600 Manor Road formally marked the completion of the project with a Sept. 9 grand reopening and ribbon-cutting coordinated with the Western Chester County Chamber of Commerce.
The property is owned by Ramnik Chopra and Sanjeev Verma.
The renovation covered guest rooms and public areas while adding a new HVAC system and lighting. Rooms received new beds, larger televisions, updated furnishings and finishes, along with refreshed bathrooms featuring wall-mounted bulk dispensers intended to replace single-use plastics.
About half of the hotel’s rooms are now configured with two queen beds, while the remainder have king beds.
The project also redesigned the lobby with work areas, communal seating, media booths, and upgraded connectivity.
The hotel’s Bistro received additional seating and upgrades to its breakfast, Starbucks coffee, evening food and bar operations.
More than 1,100 square feet of flexible meeting and event space was updated as part of the work, positioning the property to serve business conferences, corporate retreats and private events.
Facility improvements included commercial LED lighting, low-flow plumbing fixtures and occupancy sensors integrated with the HVAC system to reduce energy and water consumption.
The Sept. 9 ceremony brought together hotel leadership and staff, chamber representatives and officials from local municipalities, formally concluding phased construction work at the property.
The hotel sits just off the Route 30 Bypass and serves demand tied to corporate travel, weddings, sporting events and tourism in the Coatesville area.
