PHILADELPHIA, PA — Labor and employment law firm Willig, Williams & Davidson said 20 of its attorneys were recognized in the 2026 Pennsylvania Super Lawyers and Rising Stars rankings, including Managing Partner Deborah R. Willig, who was again named among the state’s top-ranked attorneys.
Willig was recognized among the Top 100 Attorneys in Pennsylvania, Top 100 Attorneys in Philadelphia, and Top 50 Women Attorneys in Pennsylvania, according to the annual rankings published by Super Lawyers, a Thomson Reuters rating service.
The firm said Willig, Stuart W. Davidson, Nancy B.G. Lassen, and retired partners Bruce M. Ludwig, Alaine S. Williams, and Ralph J. Teti have each been named Pennsylvania Super Lawyers for at least 20 years. All six were recognized in the Employment & Labor practice area.
A total of 18 attorneys from the firm were named Pennsylvania Super Lawyers across employment and labor law, family law, employee benefits, and workers’ compensation.
The firm’s 2026 Pennsylvania Super Lawyers honorees are Aneesah El-Amin-Jaamia (Family Law); James S. Beall (Employee Benefits); Irwin W. Aronson, John R. Bielski, Jessica C. Caggiano, Stuart W. Davidson, Laurence M. Goodman, Thomas M. Gribbin Jr., Ryan A. Hancock, Lauren M. Hoye, Nancy B.G. Lassen, Bruce M. Ludwig, Richard G. Poulson, Amy L. Rosenberger, Ralph J. Teti, Alaine S. Williams, and Deborah R. Willig (Employment & Labor); and Michael G. Dryden (Workers’ Compensation).
Three attorneys from the firm were also named Pennsylvania Rising Stars, a designation reserved for lawyers either age 40 or younger or in practice for 10 years or less. Those honorees are Ashley M. Sullivan in Bankruptcy: Consumer and Samuel H. Datlof and Lauren M. Hoye in Employment & Labor.
According to Super Lawyers, the selection process combines independent research and peer evaluations to identify attorneys with significant professional achievement and peer recognition. The organization states that approximately 5% of attorneys in Pennsylvania are selected as Super Lawyers, while about 2.5% qualify for Rising Stars recognition.
Candidates are evaluated using multiple criteria, including professional accomplishments, honors, certifications, community involvement, publications, and peer assessments.
