Unisys Gains Leader Rating as AI Cloud Push Expands

Unisys Corporation

BLUE BELL, PA — Unisys Corp. (NYSE: UIS) was named a Leader in NelsonHall’s 2026 assessment of AI-enabled cloud infrastructure management services, recognition that underscores the technology company’s investment in automation and AI as enterprises contend with increasingly complex hybrid and multi-cloud environments.

NelsonHall’s Vendor Evaluation & Assessment Tool, or NEAT, evaluates providers of AI-enabled services for cloud and hybrid environments. The assessment is designed to help sourcing managers compare vendors across capabilities and business scenarios.

The report cited Unisys for AI-driven cloud management capabilities spanning automation, predictive analytics and self-healing operations. It also identified the company’s intellectual property and accelerators, including Unisys Intelligent Operations, Cloud Business Office and Multi-Agent Orchestration, as strengths.

A central component of the company’s strategy is the Unisys Intelligence Accelerator, an AI-enabled delivery platform that automates workflows across clients’ hybrid infrastructure, applications, data and security operations.

Unisys supports its cloud infrastructure management business with about 2,200 professionals serving nearly 150 clients worldwide, according to the company.

“Unisys is investing in its intelligent operations to provide AI and data-driven cloud transformation and management capabilities,” John Lahery, IT services research director at NelsonHall, said.

Lahery cited the company’s AI-focused consulting through its Cloud Business Office and its expansion of intellectual property and accelerators, including self-healing autonomous agents. He also pointed to Unisys’ modular approach, which allows clients to retain existing technology tools while accessing a broader partner ecosystem.

The recognition comes as Unisys continues to direct technology investment toward AI-enabled infrastructure management rather than relying solely on conventional cloud administration.

“AI is reshaping how organizations oversee and optimize their technology environments,” Unisys Chief Operating Officer Chris Arrasmith said. He said the company is combining AI, automation and cloud expertise to manage increasingly complex technology environments and is continuing to invest in the Unisys Intelligence Accelerator.
