Unisys Climbs to No. 32 on Global Workplace Ranking

BLUE BELL, PA — Unisys (NYSE: UIS) climbed 42 places to No. 32 on the 2026 Global Top 100 Most Loved Workplaces list compiled by The Economist, a recognition the technology services company is using to underscore its efforts to retain talent and support its artificial intelligence-focused strategy.

The ranking marks a sharp improvement from Unisys’ No. 74 position in 2025 and represents the company’s third consecutive certification as a Most Loved Workplace by the Best Practice Institute.

The annual ranking measures employee satisfaction and engagement through surveys evaluating factors including workplace respect, collaboration, support and employees’ sense of belonging.

For technology companies navigating competition for skilled workers and accelerating investments in artificial intelligence, employee retention and workforce development have become increasingly important differentiators.

“Advancing to No. 32 on this year’s Global Most Loved Workplaces list reflects the culture we continue to build on and strengthen at Unisys,” Chief Executive Officer and President Mike Thomson stated. The Global Top 100 Most Loved Workplaces ranking is based on research conducted by the Best Practice Institute and survey responses from employees and executives across the United States, the Middle East and North Africa, and Southeast Asia.

According to the program’s organizers, more than 175 companies and over 3,000 executives participated in the research supporting the 2026 rankings.

The improved placement comes as Unisys continues to emphasize employee upskilling and workforce development as part of its broader business strategy, with companies across the technology sector increasingly competing on workplace culture and talent retention amid rapid changes driven by artificial intelligence.
