WEST CONSHOHOCKEN, PA — Drivers traveling from southbound Interstate 476 to Interstate 76 (Schuylkill Expressway) should prepare for two nights of ramp closures and detours beginning Friday, September 25, in Montgomery County.

The ramp from southbound I-476 to eastbound I-76 will close Friday and Saturday nights. The ramp from southbound I-476 to westbound I-76 will close during the same periods.
Drivers will be directed along posted detour routes to reach I-76. PennDOT did not identify the specific roads included in those detours.
Motorists should plan extra time, expect delays near the interchange, and consider alternate routes while the ramps are closed.
Weeknight lane closures will also continue through October on sections of I-476 in Delaware and Montgomery counties.
The work is part of a $63.7 million project to resurface, repair, and improve nearly 17 miles of I-476, including associated ramps and bridges.
