PHILADELPHIA, PA — Former NFL quarterback Tom Brady and instant-commerce company Gopuff have launched a new coconut water brand available exclusively through the delivery platform, expanding their partnership into the fast-growing functional beverage market.
The product line, called Good Nut, arrives as consumer demand for lower-sugar and less-processed beverage alternatives continues to grow. According to the company, the global coconut water market is projected to reach $11 billion by 2030, while coconut water sales on Gopuff’s platform have increased 115% over the past year.
The launch represents the latest consumer product venture for Brady, whose business interests have expanded beyond sports into health, wellness and consumer brands.
Good Nut is produced using organic coconuts sourced from Vietnam and contains no added sugars, sweeteners or artificial ingredients, according to the company.
The product lineup includes three varieties: Original Coconut Water, Chocolate Coconut Water and Sparkling Coconut Water.
Brady said the product was developed around his long-standing use of coconut water as part of his hydration routine.
“Hydration has always been a big part of my routine, and while coconut water has been a staple for me, I knew we could take it to a completely different level by teaming up with Gopuff,” Brady said.
The launch also expands Gopuff’s portfolio of exclusive consumer brands and celebrity partnerships as the company seeks to differentiate itself in the competitive delivery and convenience retail market.
“Coconut water sales have surged 115% year-over-year on the platform,” said Tyler Stewart, Gopuff’s head of marketing. “We quickly realized there was an opportunity to shake up the category with a product that tastes incredible, uses great ingredients, and has a bold brand that gets people talking.”
Good Nut is available exclusively through Gopuff beginning immediately. The beverages are priced at $3.29 per can, with discounted pricing available to members of the company’s FAM subscription program.
