PHILADELPHIA, PA — Thrive TRM acquired Incentiv, an executive compensation data network for private equity firms and portfolio companies, adding pay-benchmarking capabilities to its talent relationship management platform.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Incentiv collects and standardizes compensation data from private equity firms and their portfolio companies, covering cash, equity and incentive structures across more than 500 PE-backed businesses.
The acquisition gives Thrive customers access to compensation intelligence alongside tools used to manage executive searches, talent pipelines and leadership relationships.
“Bringing Incentiv into the platform extends that value into one of the most important parts of the process: compensation,” Thrive President Lucinda Duncalfe said in a statement.
Private equity firms often face difficulty benchmarking executive pay because portfolio-company compensation can vary widely by ownership structure, growth stage, incentive design and value-creation goals.
Incentiv was co-founded by private equity investor Matt Fanelli and operates as a member-contributed data network built around PE-backed companies.
“Lack of trusted market data has long been a glaring problem in private equity talent,” Fanelli said in a statement.
Incentiv will operate as a standalone subsidiary within Thrive, with member data continuing to be governed under existing standards, according to the company.
The deal extends Thrive’s platform deeper into the executive talent lifecycle, connecting leadership recruiting with compensation decisions used to attract and retain senior executives.
