Card skimmers are devices designed to capture payment card information during transactions, potentially allowing criminals to make unauthorized purchases or access financial accounts.

Customers who recently used a payment card at the location should review their account activity for unfamiliar transactions and consider contacting their card issuer about potential exposure.

Those who used a debit card should also consider changing their personal identification number and enabling transaction alerts to identify suspicious activity.

Contactless payment methods, including mobile wallets and tap-to-pay cards, can reduce exposure to traditional card skimming devices.
