CONSHOHOCKEN, PA — Suvoda received two 2026 PM360 Innovation Awards for an artificial intelligence assistant and a patient mobile application designed to consolidate clinical-trial data and tasks, as the company expands technology aimed at reducing operational complexity for sponsors, research sites and participants.
PM360 selected Sofia, Suvoda’s AI assistant, in its Artificial Intelligence category and the Suvoda App in the Clinical Trials category. Both will be featured in the publication’s September Innovation Issue.
Sofia provides sponsors and clinical-trial sites with conversational access to randomization and trial supply management, or RTSM, data and electronic clinical outcome assessment, or eCOA, information.
Sponsors can use the system to review drug inventory, retrieve reports and assess trial status. Site personnel can query study information without navigating separate parts of the underlying system.
Suvoda said Sofia can answer questions across more than 40 topics using deterministic instructions and validated responses. Its controls apply user roles, permissions and study context while maintaining trial blinding, data integrity and privacy restrictions.
“Clinical trial teams need fast, clear answers to the questions that come up every day,” Jadon Sargeant, senior product owner at Suvoda, said. “With Sofia, we’re putting that information closer to the moment a decision needs to be made.”
Sofia operates on the Suvoda Platform, which the company said has supported more than 6,000 clinical trials in more than 115 countries.
The Suvoda App addresses a different part of trial operations by consolidating participant activities in a single mobile application. Patients can complete questionnaires and diaries, submit receipts, monitor reimbursements, arrange rides, review travel information, manage visits and receive reminders.
“The Suvoda App brings together many activities which have historically been separate and confusing,” said Elizabeth Smith, director of product management for patient engagement at Suvoda.
