MALVERN, PA — Immaculata University will host an undergraduate open house Saturday, Nov. 21, from 9 a.m. to noon, giving prospective students and transfer applicants an opportunity to evaluate academic programs, financial aid options and campus resources before making enrollment decisions.

The event will bring high school students and prospective college transfers to the university’s campus for meetings with admissions counselors, faculty, current students and representatives from student support offices.

Attendees will receive information about undergraduate admissions, academic requirements, financial aid, student life, athletics and services available to enrolled students.

The university will also offer student-led campus tours and an informational fair where visitors can speak directly with faculty and staff about degree programs and the undergraduate experience.

Immaculata’s academic offerings include programs in cybersecurity, education, business, exercise science, fashion merchandising, music therapy, allied health, nursing, nutrition and communication.

Several of those programs incorporate practical training through specialized facilities, including science laboratories, nursing simulation laboratories, broadcast and podcast studios, and a digital media laboratory.

Students also have opportunities to participate in internships, faculty-guided research, leadership development and community service.

The university competes in NCAA Division III athletics, which will be among the extracurricular opportunities discussed during the event.

Christine Rhine, executive director of undergraduate admissions, said the open house is intended to help applicants assess the university’s academic offerings and campus environment.

“Our open houses give prospective students the opportunity to explore academic programs, connect with faculty and current students, and discover the experiences and opportunities that make an Immaculata education distinctive,” Rhine stated.

The event will include a complimentary buffet breakfast for visitors.

Prospective students and their families can register for the Nov. 21 open house at https://admissions.immaculata.edu/portal/november_open_house.
