MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA — Six ramps connecting U.S. 422 with Route 29 and Township Line Road will close overnight beginning Monday, September 14, forcing drivers onto several detours in Limerick and Upper Providence townships.

The ramps connecting eastbound U.S. 422 with Route 29 (Collegeville Road) will close from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM each night.
Drivers entering eastbound U.S. 422 from Route 29 will be directed onto westbound U.S. 422, then to the Royersford/Trappe exit and Township Line Road. Drivers leaving eastbound U.S. 422 for Route 29 will use the Egypt Road exit and westbound U.S. 422.
The ramps connecting eastbound U.S. 422 with Township Line Road will also close from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM.
Drivers entering eastbound U.S. 422 from Township Line Road will use westbound U.S. 422, the Linfield/Limerick exit, and Lewis Road. Drivers leaving eastbound U.S. 422 for Township Line Road will use the Phoenixville/Collegeville exit to Route 29 (Collegeville Road) and westbound U.S. 422.
The ramps connecting westbound U.S. 422 with Township Line Road will close from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
Drivers entering westbound U.S. 422 from Township Line Road will use eastbound U.S. 422 and the Phoenixville/Collegeville exit to Route 29. Drivers leaving westbound U.S. 422 for Township Line Road will use the Linfield/Limerick exit to Lewis Road and eastbound U.S. 422.
PennDOT advises drivers to plan extra time because backups and delays are expected near the closed ramps and along the detour routes. The schedule depends on weather conditions.
The closures are part of a $6.2 million state-funded project to resurface and repair 4.4 miles of U.S. 422. Allan Myers Inc., of Worcester, is the general contractor.
