A lane will be closed during the scheduled work hours as crews continue a $36 million project to replace two bridges carrying Route 420 over Darby Creek in Prospect Park Borough and Tinicum Township.
PennDOT advised motorists to plan extra time when traveling through the work zone because backups and delays are expected. Drivers should seek alternate routes when possible, particularly during periods of heavier daytime traffic.
No detour was announced. All scheduled construction activities are weather dependent and may be postponed or rescheduled.
