SOUTHAMPTON, PA — Quaint Oak Bank is marking its 100th anniversary by expanding community investment initiatives, including a tree-planting program, nonprofit partnerships and support for local libraries, as the community bank commemorates a century in business.
Founded in 1926, the bank said its centennial campaign has focused on projects intended to leave long-term benefits in the communities it serves while reinforcing its community banking strategy.
One of the largest initiatives has been a tree-planting program that began with a goal of planting 100 trees but has expanded to 233 trees as new customer relationships have grown.
The bank has also continued its partnership with The Arc of Lehigh and Northampton Counties as part of broader efforts to support accessibility and community development.
Additional investments have been directed toward local libraries and community spaces to expand access to educational programs, digital resources and community learning opportunities.
Chief Executive Officer Robert T. Strong said the anniversary marks both a celebration and an opportunity to invest in the future, adding that the initiatives “are intended to leave a lasting legacy in the communities that have been part of our success for the past century.”
Strong also expressed that the bank remains “committed to serving our customers and communities with the same steady approach that has guided us for 100 years.”
Quaint Oak Bank stated the anniversary campaign reflects its continued focus on responsible growth and community-based banking as it enters its second century of operations.
