PHILADELPHIA, PA — Qlik has announced the launch of Qlik Cares, an expanded program designed to enhance support for nonprofits worldwide. Building on 15 years of providing over $40 million worth of analytics and data-driven services, Qlik Cares introduces a more collaborative approach, mobilizing technology, expertise, and community resources to drive impactful, measurable outcomes.

“For Direct Relief, data is not only the lifeblood of our humanitarian logistics systems, but also itself a form of essential aid,” said Andrew Schroeder, Vice President of Research and Analysis at Direct Relief. “Qlik partners with us on the everyday analysis needed to fulfill medical needs for communities throughout the world, while also acting as close collaborators on efforts to advance the use of novel data sources, machine learning, and AI for public benefit in times of crisis.”

Through Qlik Cares, eligible organizations can access the full Qlik suite of tools, including data integration, analytics, AutoML, and generative AI, at discounted rates. The program offers pro bono engagement options ranging from training to multi-month projects like app development and AI readiness, leveraging the expertise of Qlik employees, partners, and even university students.

“In this global time of need, we are proud to enhance our program, Qlik Cares, to mobilize resources from multiple angles—our platform, our people, and our ecosystem—to accelerate the missions of those solving society’s greatest challenges,” said Julie Kae, VP of Sustainability and Executive Director of Qlik.org.

Other key features include a centralized matching portal launching later this year to connect nonprofits with Qlik experts, and scalable hackathon support to ensure solutions move beyond prototypes into real-world deployment.

“Access to clean, usable data is essential to delivering aid quickly and effectively in crisis zones—but it’s not something most humanitarian organizations can do alone,” said Heidi Cockram, CIO of Medair. “Qlik’s support, both in technology and hands-on expertise, helped us accelerate how we manage information in the field. It’s a real partnership built on trust, speed, and a shared commitment to saving lives.”

Taco van het Reve, Managing Director of cimt, a long-standing Qlik partner, emphasized the importance of timely decision-making in humanitarian work. “Access to reliable data must never be a barrier when lives are at stake,” he said. “cimt is proud to support the humanitarian organization Medair with Qlik’s solutions.”

Qlik Cares continues the company’s dedication to empowering nonprofits in tackling crucial challenges such as climate action, global health, and education. By providing data-focused tools and partnerships, Qlik aims to transform how these organizations deliver aid and improve lives.
