PHILADELPHIA, PA — Phenom’s AI-powered Voice Screening Agent has received a 2026 CODiE Award for Best Productivity / Workflow Solution, marking the second consecutive year the company has been recognized by the software industry’s annual awards program.
The award recognizes the company’s voice-based recruiting technology, which automates early-stage candidate screening as employers increasingly adopt artificial intelligence to accelerate hiring and reduce recruiter workloads.
The CODiE Awards are judged by independent industry experts, who evaluate software products based on factors including innovation, functionality, market impact and overall value.
Phenom’s Voice Screening Agent conducts automated, role-specific screening interviews, generates transcripts and summaries, and scores candidates using employer-defined criteria. The system is designed to operate continuously, allowing organizations to contact and evaluate applicants outside traditional business hours.
The company reported that the technology has produced measurable hiring efficiencies for customers. According to Phenom, one healthcare provider reduced its time to extend job offers by half while saving 400 recruiter hours per month. A global retailer eliminated a five- to seven-day delay between application and first candidate contact, saving approximately 17,000 recruiter hours, while an industrial manufacturer achieved a 95% screening completion rate and 55% applicant conversion across operations in 100 countries.
John Deal, senior director of product marketing at Phenom, described the software as being designed to adapt conversations in real time while maintaining consistent screening standards.
“Voice Screening Agent reaches candidates on their schedule and pivots based on the direction a conversation takes without missing a beat or necessary piece of information,” Deal stated.
The Voice Screening Agent is part of Phenom’s broader WorkOps platform, which allows organizations to automate hiring workflows spanning candidate intake, screening, interview scheduling and onboarding.
The platform also includes AI agents for functions such as gathering hiring manager requirements, detecting fraudulent applicants and reviewing onboarding documents for compliance issues. Phenom indicated the orchestration platform enables organizations to deploy multiple AI agents while maintaining centralized oversight and human review where required.
The company received a CODiE Award in 2025 for its human capital and talent management technology.
