PHILADELPHIA, PA — Virtual Inc. and the Technology Councils of North America (TECNA) have formed a strategic partnership that gives technology councils and industry associations across the U.S. and Canada access to Virtual’s advisory and operational management services.
The partnership, unveiled during TECNA’s Summer Conference in Philadelphia, is intended to help member organizations strengthen operations, expand member services and pursue new growth opportunities, the organizations indicated.
Under the agreement, TECNA members will gain access to Virtual’s portfolio of strategic advisory, professional services and operational support. The organizations also plan to collaborate on business development, conference programming and joint marketing initiatives.
The alliance reflects continued pressure on membership organizations to diversify revenue, improve operational efficiency and demonstrate greater value to members as technology industries evolve.
Jennifer Young, chief executive officer of TECNA, characterized the partnership as a way to provide member organizations with additional strategic and operational resources.
“Partnering with Virtual gives our members direct access to proven strategic and operational expertise, helping them move faster, innovate with confidence, and deliver even greater impact for the ecosystems they serve,” Young stated.
Virtual, which has worked with membership organizations for more than 25 years, provides strategic consulting, operational management and professional services for trade associations and similar organizations.
Greg Kohn, chief executive officer of Virtual, indicated the agreement extends the company’s focus on helping membership organizations adapt to changing market conditions.
The partnership was announced during TECNA’s Summer Conference, held in Philadelphia from July 21 through July 23.
