KING OF PRUSSIA, PA — Premier Orthopaedics and Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder Center have added orthopaedic surgeon Liam Kane, MD, to their medical staff, expanding shoulder, elbow and upper-extremity care at offices in Bucks and Montgomery counties.
Kane is accepting new patients at 1203 Langhorne-Newtown Road, St. Clare Building, Suite 335, in Langhorne and 120 Huntingdon Pike, Suite 100, in Rockledge.
His practice focuses on upper-extremity, shoulder and elbow surgery. Kane completed a shoulder and elbow clinical fellowship with Rothman Orthopaedics at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital after completing his orthopaedic surgery residency at the same hospital.
Kane earned his medical degree from Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine. His research and academic work have included publications and presentations on orthopaedic surgery.
During his fellowship, Kane received the Philip Syng Physick Award for research examining outcomes from initial non-operative treatment of traumatic, full-thickness rotator cuff tears.
“His fellowship training in complex shoulder and elbow reconstruction, paired with his dedication to research and restoring patient mobility, makes him an exceptional addition to our team,” Christina Vannello, CEO of Premier Orthopaedics and Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder Center, said.
Premier Orthopaedics and Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder Center operate more than 40 locations across Greater Philadelphia, providing surgical and non-surgical orthopaedic services, physical therapy, hand therapy, MRI services and Express Ortho Care.
