Traffic alert, expect delays

LOWER POTTSGROVE TWP, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced a one-day road closure on Bleim Road in Lower Pottsgrove Township, Montgomery County, for a planned pipe replacement project.

The closure is scheduled for Monday, May 12, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, during which Bleim Road will be closed between Route 663 (Charlotte Street) and Kepler Road. Local access will remain open, but through traffic will be redirected to an official detour route that includes Kepler Road, Buchert Road, Washington Street, Mervine Street, and Route 663 (Charlotte Street).

Drivers are urged to plan for delays and allow extra travel time near the work zone. PennDOT notes that all scheduled work is weather dependent and may be subject to change.

Motorists are reminded to use caution when traveling through construction areas and to follow posted detours to ensure both their safety and the safety of the workers.
